Taiz Youth Empowered Through Graphic Design Training
Al-Wed Development Foundation launched an intensive training course in graphic design and digital design today, Saturday, August 24, 2024, as part of its ongoing efforts to empower youth and prepare them for the job market. The course targeted 27 young people from the rural districts of Taiz (Al-Masrakh, Al-Ma’afir, and Jabal Habshi) and will continue for ten days under the supervision of the specialized trainer, Raad Al-Tamimi.
Mr. Abdul Kareem Al-Salami, the foundation’s executive director, delivered an opening speech expressing his happiness with the large youth participation in the course. He emphasized the importance of acquiring digital skills in the current era and encouraged the trainees to seize this opportunity to develop their creative abilities and broaden their professional horizons.
On behalf of the general manager, Mr. Yahya Ismail, who was unable to attend, Ms. Wahda Al-Saba’i, director of the executive unit for the displaced and deputy director of community participation, conveyed his greetings.
The course aims to equip young people with the basic skills of graphic design and build their capabilities in creating digital content in a creative and engaging manner, contributing to their preparation for the ever-changing job market.
